Even een stukje tekst dat ik teruggevonden heb hierover;
One of the drives to development of the fP series after the LAB4000 series was to make changes necessary to gain ETL approval. That was mostly paper work, but it did require the replacement of certain components. At the same time it was a good opportunity to upgrade the amp to the latest released components in the market.
Technically, the biggest change compared to the LAB4000 was our decision to phase reverse ch. B, both input and output. By doing so the amp can draw from both the + and – side on the power supply at the same time, giving 10% more efficiency, and resulting in a better performing amp in the low end and below 4 ohm.
Even though the fP6400 is slightly more powerful we have a lot of customers that are driving the fP6400 and the LAB4000 together. That is how small the differences are between these two ranges.
