    Collega's,

    Kan iemand mij vertellen hoe de flanger in 'Listen to the music' van The Doobie Brothers is opgebouwd? Ik probeer dat uit mijn PCM96 te halen, alleen de standaard presets klinken voor mij niet als een flanger.

              inderdaad gewoon te faken met een zeer korte delay met EQ/compressie.

              de term flanger komt ook van een "flange" (spoel van een spoelendeck) tegenhouden.

              Waar "phasing" het in fase draaien van geluid dmv de eigenschappen van transistors is.

              In de studio de submix kopieren, timestretchen, en naast het orginele spoor plakken met een autovolumecurve. 2 minuten werk. (de tijden zijn veranderd)

              Overigens de bandcompressie, taperek en andere analoge artifacts kun je live gewoon negeren maar zijn in de studio smeuige ingredienten om mee te nemen in je effect.
